Landscape & People Day with Bedford Museum

Sunday 24th October - 11am - 4pm

Come & experience how, over the centuries, man has exploited the landscape in the search for raw materials to make the things we need. A forge is being set up to show metalworking and the Pavenham Rushworkers are coming to demonstrate their skills. Stallholders will also be selling their wares. All tasks start at 10am and finish mid afternoon, but you only need stay as long as you want.

Health Walks

5th August, 19th August, 2nd September, 16th September, 30th September

Health walks are being run fortnightly on Thursdays in each month.  Meet at 10.30am at the Visitor Centre.

Each walk lasts just over half an hour and is guided by a trained leader. The aim is to improve your physical health and mental wellbeing. Walking regularly can reduce your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, strokes and depression.

You can book beforehand or simply meet on the day.
