Having lost our twenty year old bird hide through arson in April 2012, we acquired the new facility five months later through the generosity of Bedford Borough Council, the Friends of the Park and other visitors.
Located alongside the main bridleway through the Park, the hide has access for the disabled, bird recognition boards and viewing areas over the Grebe Lake.
It is available throughout the year and provides an excellent facility for both expert and amateur bird watchers. A smaller, more basic hide is located on the north side of the lake.
